not cheating
This is not cheating!!! If you use a hand drill or something involving your hands. Powered tools will not count. Send your pictures to the nation on Facebook around the next six weeks and if not then, then just keep searching on Facebook until it will pop up

towers
The tower i had made fell over so you should start roping it down to the ground with some home made stakes. Get three thickish sticks and use ropes to tie them to each other to make the shape of a stake. To make a hammer take a good size logish stick and tie a stick to make a hammer shaped object and get the stake in the ground and tie rope to the stake and the tower.

washed away bridges
If you have a washed away bridge wait for the water to go down and when the bridge is some what visible you could wait to take it out or u could take it out now. If it is over a swamp it could be wet and slippery and hazardous and you could fall in and you wont be two happy so you might want to wash it first. Oh and make sure the bridge is wide enough for wheel barrels

Building a flag pole, a kitchen rack, and a desert water bag
Building a flag pole
First get two six foot branches and put them on the ground next to each other but one has to be five feet up the other one and the other one has to be five feet under so only about one foot will be touching. then lash the two together with a round lashing at both ends that are touching then stand it up.
Building a kitchen rack
First get a six foot branch and two two foot branches. Put the six foot branch on the ground. Then put one of the two feet branches and put it in the middle of the middle and the side and square lash it. Put the other one on the other side of the one already there, in the middle of the middle and the other side and square lash it.
Building a desert water bag.
First get three three foot branches and lay them on the ground and lash them with a tripod lashing. stand it up so it is like a tee pee then if you have extra rope use that for the bag that will hang inside the tee pee.
SAFETY CHECK: stubs on trees: They are very dangerous but if you watch out then u wont get hurt. If you find one be sure to break it or avoid that area.

Building a tower
Building a tower.
First get four branches about eight or nine feet long ( use your dad as a measuring tool if he is about six feet tall) hint: live branches are stronger than dead branches you may have to cut them down: the eight or nine feet long feet branches can be dead - they are easy to find in the woods, then get twenty branches about four feet tall, then get nine branches about five feet tall. Put two of the eight feet tall branches on the ground, then put one of the four foot branches near the bottom of the two eight feet branches and use a square lashing, then put two of the four feet branches on the ground making an X shape then use the diagonal lashing to tie the two branches (the four feet ones) then put the two eight feet branches on the sides of the X. Lash the two eight feet branches two the X with a square lashing (near the bottom not near the middle). then get one four foot branch and put it near the middle of the two eight feet branches and above the X. Then make another X and put that above the middle branch. Then put another four foot branch near the top. Then repeat that again with the other two eight feet branches. Stand the two up and have some one hold them while you lash one side with three four feet branches, put one near the bottom with a square lashing, one near the middle with a square lashing, and one near the top with a square lashing. The tower so far should stand up if not have someone hold the side with lashings while you do the same thing to the other side. Then for the floor use all nine five foot branches and lash them one the top branches with the floor lashing. If you want to build other things that are tall, you can put another five foot branch and lash it with a diagonal lashing and make a notch in the five foot branch at the end not lashed and put rope throught that notch and you can put a big hook or something throughthe rope.
SAFTY CHECK; bears: If you live in a place where there are bears you should check for an animal like a bear about every ten minutes and keep your ears open. if you see a bear dont run up hill or any where. shout a boo to scare it off.
School project
At school in sixth grade I'm doing a project for this book called Diary of an American boy by Eric Sloane. My project is a latter. Its very hard but fun when your bord. After I'm finished with it I will use it as a way to get up to build stuff like small towers that will be on each other. School is boring at times or it can be hard but its almost over. Then I will be in middle school which some of the seventh graders say it's fun but I think it will be hard but I'll find something fun up there.
The towers will probobly be to help build a small house no bigger than six feet tall. One tower will go on top of the tiny house. Another thing I defenitly half to check for is ticks uhg the worst time of the year the tick part of the year. Be shure to check every time you go out side if you are going to do what I'm doing. Then there is this other project where we half make our own country its realy stupide, we half to make our own flag, maps and all sorts of stuff.
The next post might have some instructions to building a tower.

The begining.
The nation project is basically something I've been thinking about for a while now, but where it is isn't where I planned it to be. At first I was going to put at my house I started to build a bridge but I think I might change it, but back on subject. My friend and I found a clearing in the woods behind the Marina and near a parking lot the marina owns (NOT TRESPASSING on any private property). So far I have a flag and the ground is matted a little. There is also horse tail (not a real horse tail; its a plant) my friend says it helps with cuts and scraches and stuff but I don't belive it, there are sticks that when you peel them they are wetand smell like oranges, my friend thinks it's sap.
